Wizkid’s Fans Must Stop Being Hypocrites, He Is Just A Washed Up Artiste -Read This Open Letter To All Wizkid Fans

While some hardcore fans of one of Nigeria’s music artiste Ayo Balogun – popularly known as Wizkid – might not want to agree with this piece, I’m sure in their very private minds, they can actually know it’s true.
Now let’s stop all these rubbish claims that Wizkid is a “Superstar” or “International Artiste” or a “Genius” – and that third term really got me pissed, “Genius” of what really?!
Don’t get me wrong, Wizkid is a good artiste but he’s not worthy of all these ridicuous hypes at this moment.
Here’s just 2 strong reasons why Wizkid is nothing but just a “washed-up” music artiste…outlined below…
1) For an artiste claiming to be an international brand, how come he hasn’t been nominated in proper international awards – and by proper awards I mean in technical & craft based awards NOT award shows characterized popular fans votings (MTV, MAMA, and the rest).
All we see is him just forcing himself on almost every foreign music artiste out there all in the name of doing collaborations, which have not yielded the intended ‘hidden’ results.

2) Let’s all be honest at least for once, when was the last time Wizkid roles out a TRUE HIT song, not some glorified less impressive songs? It’s been like 3 – 4years now, right? And that’s pretty bad for an artiste of his supposed status.
I could recall the last time his fans were yearning for his next album, unfortunately he came forth with a “Mixtape”, while his compatriot Olamide who’s labelled “local champion” has just released his 7th studio album.
For virtually all true international music artistes, the two aforementioned boxes must be ticked appropriately, because we don’t just want any washed-up artiste claiming to be international.
